Wind Farm Consultancy

Western Forestry Co-op has provided windfarm consultancy services which include:

  • Manage and produce a Forestry Clearfelling Impact Assessment for the proposed wind farm development

  • Site hazard and Risk assessment

  • Consideration of potential effects on the receiving environment, with particular reference to the associated impact areas e.g. ecology, hydrology, soil disturbance/erosion/compaction, carbon balance calculations and sediment control.

  • Establish baseline/existing conditions,

  • Identify potential impacts

  • Propose site appropriate mitigation measures

  • Harvest Plan

  • Replanting Plan
